Valkrii
I cursed under my low breath, still looking at the blood on my claws. I hadn't suceeded in getting the buck. I twitched my tail, anger growing in my silver-striped body. My mint optics searched about, looking for more prey. I didn't see, nor smell, a living thing. Except the small tinge of wolf far south. I ignored it, but walked south.
I soon spotted the same buck charging at me. I let out a pitch laugh, dodged the horns, the sprung onto the brown fur, still splattered with rustic-smelling blood. Digging talons into the spine, I paralyzed my victim with ease then snapped it's brain stem, taking away the painful misery of my fodder.

I gave off a slight howl as I ran down the beach. I was going north. My day was boring. I had already caught and eaten a small doe. I loped up the beach my small size giving me extra speed. I slid to a stop arriving apon a feline eating a deer.

I sensed a wolf very ner me, so licked the scarlet blood off my whiskers and walked toward the dog. [glow=gold,2,300]Hello. I'm Valkrii.[/glow] I welcomed, still slight caution in my rythmic tone. My minty eyes stared at the amber-haired canis lupus. She had a nice color, the honey bringing out the rest of her beauty.

[glow=gold,2,300]Nice to meet you.[/glow] I smiled tiger-ishly and shifted legs. [glow=gold,2,300]Is it normal for packs to be here?[/glow] I asked. I had seen a evil pack pass by, I had hidden.

Falcon-
I nipped at my twin brother Eagle and growled playfully, then stiffened, my keen ears had picked up the sound of a distant conversation. Beside me, Eagle stiffened too, his blue eyes clouded over. "What do you see?" my gruff, husky voice was low with worry, Eagle was unmoving. "A wolf and a feline nearby" Eagle's small, slightly high pitched and normally cheerful voice was puzzled, his eyes unclouded, going back to their normal blue. I didn't need to tell him to move, he sensed my intentions almost before I did, we set off quickly. I felt as if I had wings on my paws as I loped through the silent woodlands, my brother and I flitted between trees like ghosts, and I couldn't help but howl at the joy of freedom, Eagle beside my joined in the howl. We looked so alike, yet our howls were so different, mine was low, solemn, deep, gruff and throaty, his was high, happy and full of joy. We continued loping towards the wolf and the feline, our different voices melding together in oen beautiful, baying song.

"No. These lands are unclaimed. No wolf packs should be here." I heard a beautiful wolf song. Two males. Brothers probably. I had to join in. It was so peaceful to hear there voices mixing. I let out my own pure and good howl. I let my own howl die as I turned back to the feline. I padded over to greet the wolves arriving.

I loped to the males also. I blinked my minty eyes, the two males seemed to be twins, other than scars, size, and a few markings. [glow=gold,2,300]Hello. Well, I'm Valkrii![/glow] I smiled, then turned to Amber. [glow=gold,2,300]I saw a pack of the dark ones, pass by, they were blood-stained and looked as if near death. I also her a odd yowl[/glow] I muttered into the amber ear.

Falcon-
I halted as I saw the she-wolf and grinned my lopsided grin, it still unnerved me the way I always felt as if a lot of my muzzle was missing, I had asked Eagle abotu it and he had said 'your muzzle's just a little . . . . different' I didn't beleive him, my back was sore, I felt cold and I regretted irritatign that pack so logn ago . . . my fur had never properly grown back. Eagle's grin was so cheerful, that for a moment it was easy to forget my troubles, I grinned back and he leaughed his hyena like laugh.
Eagle-
I could see as Falcon grinned lopsidedly that something was torubling him, I coudl almost feel my eyes turn cloudy as I read his mind, he was thinking abotu his scars. I grinned my wolfish grin and he smiled back, I hated seeing him unhappy, I felt his pain more than he did.

Falcon-
Eagle looked a little staggered by the big cat, so I introduced both of us, joking as I always did, "Hi, I'm Falcon, and my idiot twin brother" I pulled a face, "is called Eagle-eye" Eagle regained the power of speech, "I'm less of an idiot of you" I growled "that's not true" normally this fight would have gone on for hours, but I stopped, feeling foolish.

I looked at the feline. "They will be delt with sooner or later. I haven't sented them yet. There's a pack not far from here. They have been commited to taking care of evil ones. They will be gone soon." I turned ot the male wolves. I gave a wolfish grin. "My name is AMber. Nice to meet you."

Falcon-
I saw Eagle was still so awed by the tiger he hadn;t quite regained the power of speech, I grinned my lopsided grin back to Amber [glow=red,2,300]It's very nice to meet you[/glow] Eagle's eyes suddenly turned misty and he stood very still. [glow=red,2,300]What do you see?[/glow] There was a sense of urgency in my gruff tone. Eagle didn't speak for a moment, then he became normal again [glow=red,2,300]It was nothing to worry about[/glow] I wasn't convinced.

I smiled at the two brothers then at Valkrii. "You all are new to Conchobhra. I've lived here my entire life. It's quite peaceful despite the occasional evil pack." I said gently telling them to stay here. In so many words. I gave a short quick wolfy grin to Eagle.

I didn't speak, but I watched the wolves' behavior carefully. I wasn't used to too much social-wolf-in-same-area. So I watched, sat on my hindquarters, watched and listened, unmoving.
